This means that buying hands won't give you all the same benefits that you may be used to at a different poker room - Especially when it comes to keeping track of the other regulars at the room.
You can still use the hands to improve your table selection and get basic reads on the wast majority of players, but you will not be able to amass huge amounts of hands on the regulars, as you may have gotten used to.
The hands are still worth the price, but I would recommend that you buy smaller batches of hands than you are used to and add on a subscription to get fresh hands delivered each day. That way you will have the best information that is available under the circumstances, without having to break the bank.

Fortunately PTR has good coverage and are fast to deliver the hands you purchase, and everything went well when I reviewed them a little while ago.
I'm pretty sure that the other hand history resellers won't start gathering hands from Cake any time soon, since the network is relatively small, and the frequent changes of player names takes some of the benefits from buying the hands away.
